Access to water shapes everything – our health, our cities, our survival. And that's what our latest exhibition is all about.

'Thirst: In Search of Freshwater' tracks our relationship with water across centuries and continents – from ancient civilisations dealing with floods, to modern communities facing drought, to the sound of glaciers as a record of our changing world.

Like all our exhibitions, Thirst is free to visit and open Tuesday - Sunday, 10am–6pm (and a little later on Thursdays).
