You know you love your friends
and you know they love you just as much
You're wondering where they went
Are they feeling low, or are they talking to their crush?

You hope they're doing great
and you wish them all the best
But the feeling you can't shake
is that to them, you're just the petty rest

You have a lot of lovely anecdotes
from an extraordinary past
And from them you took quite a lot of growth
but also many scars

And to others it may seem
like you should cherish those good times
But when you're no longer convenient
that's when you were cast to the side.

You're worried that the same
will happen with your current friends

or always being at your best
