In the final half of Rule 6 from Jordan B. Peterson's "12 Rules for Life," we're instructed to not confuse ourselves by thinking, not to question our beliefs, not to blame anyone but ourselves for our problems, and not to try and better the world until our lives are 100% sorted.
Tolstoy, the mass doers of harm, and Solzhenitsyn do not re-appear. Tons of Bible stuff does, though. Chaos is also mysteriously absent this chapter.
The raisin cookies of doom are shorthand for the end result of a spiral Peterson has referred to several times, where the beginning is something like vengeance, nihilism, or resentment, and the end result is chaotic, despondent, hopeless badness.
The description for the just world phenomenon includes visuals of animal fail gifs. Showing actual examples for the just world belief would have been too depressing. I am not trying to make light of any person's bad situation.
In the first quote, I verbally threw an extra "truly" in. Not sure why, but the text on screen is correct.
