I just put a new video into Human 3.0 called Things Are About to Accelerate, and this is the first 15 minutes of it. I think the models are about to take another step change, from the labs and from open source, and I walk through the three things I'd tell anyone (including my own nieces and nephews) to get good at because of it. Then the teaser ends right as I start the part the full video is really about: a 40-minute walk through how I actually use LifeOS every day.
What we talk about:
The Thanos gauntlet: Why uncensored open-source models might be a bigger disruptor than the labs, and why the real question is what people will try to snap with them.
Master's degrees, layoffs, and "what do I tell my kids?": What I'm seeing in my own neighborhood, and why certificates and more credentials aren't the answer.
The three essential skills: Understand how the world works (physics up through history and the humanities), know yourself and what you actually want, and get extraordinarily good with AI, because AI is the magnifier of the first two.
