Six experienced hunters venture deep into the mountains of British Columbia for their annual elk and mule deer hunt. What begins as another routine trip quickly turns into something none of them can explain.
After hearing terrifying calls echoing through the valley, the men spot a massive figure standing beneath a cave hidden high above an avalanche chute. Through night vision binoculars, they watch as the creature paces back and forth, appearing agitated while answering calls coming from other ridges surrounding their camp.
By sunrise, the hunters discover they may have been watched throughout the entire night.
This is Mark Jensen's account of what happened during a hunting trip he and five friends still struggle to discuss nearly twenty years later.
