Tonight’s story comes from a retired search and rescue ranger who spent decades working deep in the wilderness near the Montana-Idaho border. Most rescues end with relief… but one case from the summer of 2004 left two experienced rescuers questioning everything they thought they knew about what may still exist in the forests of North America.

What they found beside a missing fourteen-year-old boy is something neither man ever forgot.
