So they’re trying their own cow for the first time.
They go through the process of how they raised them all the way from the bottle.
They say they put a lot of love into him, which is weird when they planned to take his life and eat his flesh. I don’t really think that word belongs in this situation, unless you mean you loved him as a resource, which people would just reject as a term if they were the recipient.
I don’t think it even takes a vegan to recognise something ultimately awful is happening here. This is a violation of trust, love, and moral consideration to another sentient being.
