In Episode 6 of the series, I’m in Belding, Michigan, at The Nook taking on their massive “Every Nook and Cranny” Giant Breakfast Platter Challenge!
The Nook is a family-owned and operated American restaurant that opened on August 1, 2023, with a focus on serving quality ingredients, supporting local whenever possible, and offering healthy portions in a friendly, small-town atmosphere. The menu is known for its tasty breakfast and brunch options, including oversized pancakes, breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, omelets, hash bowls, and other classic comfort-food favorites. Beyond breakfast, The Nook also serves burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and other American diner-style dishes, making it a popular local spot for both breakfast and lunch.
The “Every Nook and Cranny” Challenge features a massive platter loaded with all the best breakfast foods! It starts with 4 huge, fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, corned beef hash, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage links, sausage patties, a ham steak, 2 slices of toast, and last but not least, 2 slices of French toast! This one is a pay-to-play challenge, so you’ll have to fork over $50 to participate. However, if you can get it all down within 1 hour, you’ll earn a T-shirt, a $50 gift card, and your photo on their Facebook Wall of Fame!
