Welcome back everyone to another indie horror playthrough. Today we are checking out a crazy new game called Take Your Pills. The premise sounded super interesting and the whole vibe just looked incredibly unsettling, so I knew I had to give it a try for the channel.
In this game, we play as a little boy dealing with some sort of unknown illness. Every morning we are forced to take our medicine, but the side effects are completely terrifying. The pills start clouding our mind, warping reality, and hiding the true consequences of what we are actually doing around the house. The developer literally put a note in the description saying they hope we don't hurt anyone, which immediately set off alarm bells for me before I even hit play.
This one really messes with your head and gets super trippy the further in we go. It is a brilliant psychological horror experience that completely caught me off guard with how dark it gets. I really love when short games can build this much tension just by making you question what is real and what is just a hallucination.
