Amid this turmoil, a giant known as Haakon the Poweful, said to be a descendant of the legendary Ivar the Boneless, seized control of the country. Yet even he was but a vassal to the Danish King, signaling the end of Norways independence. The mighty house of Fairhair became a distant memory, its legacy fractured as its descendants scattered across the land, content to rule over mere scraps of what once was a mighty kingdom. But fate had not forgotten the Fairhair bloodline. From the ashes of a broken Norway, one man would rise to reclaim the legacy of his forefathers. Olaf Haraldsson, the great-great-grandson of Fairhair, would embark on a journey that would carve his name into history—not just as a king, but as a saint. Born a pagan, with his blood stained axe seeing countless battles, he would be remembered as a saint.
