Meet Dr Kelly Jowett, an entomologist at Rothamsted Research. She studies carabid beetles (better known as ground beetles) and how they can help keep pests and weeds under control.

A big part of Kelly’s work is helping farmers to recognise the work of these pest-eating powerhouses and manage their fields in a beetle-friendly way.
