These are the best beaches in Phuket, Thailand. My top favourite beaches are Freedom Beach and Paradise Beach. Both are located close to Patong in Phuket, there are in my opinion much better than Patong Beach or any other beaches on Phuket island. Both are very clean, peaceful and hidden in the mountainous bays. It is easy to make friends with the Thai locals here, swim in the crystal clear turquoise sea water and relax at the white sand beaches. The local cuisine and restaurants are delicious and authentic here. Freedom Beach is a public beach, whereas Paradise beach is a private beach. To enter Paradise beach you need to pay 100 BAHT entrance fee, but with that price you get a lift to the beach, a free soft drink and a sunbed which you can use all day – in my opinion, it’s a great deal, especially since the beach is well maintained and has a lot to offer. Freedom beach is free to enter but make sure you don’t get scammed by some of the locals who may tell you that you need to pay to enter, it is a scam and there are two entrances to the beach, one FREE and one PAID.
