Today I visited a Filipino Province in Negros Occidental, Philippines. I experienced the authentic Philippine Province Life while learning about Filipino culture and how the locals live in rural parts of the Philippines. It was not what I expected. Most people in the rural, mountainous parts of Negros Occidental live off-the-grid, the villages here are very remote and many houses lack electricity, light, water, and often bathroom facilities.
