ThermoWorks have updated their iconic ThermoPop thermometer. This new one offers more advanced features some of which are listed below. The old one (original) was a great thermometer but it didn’t work on some induction cooktops, including mine. I have a Kenmore Induction stove that is about ten years old now. About four years ago I made a video (linked here: youtu.be/XYyBZoBhIs8 ) demonstrating the problem. ThermoWorks contacted me this month and asked if I would test the New ThermoPop 2 on my induction stove. I said yes, so they sent me one and I tested it. Please watch this video for the results.
New Features of the ThermoPop 2.
•Improved Display- larger with tenth of a degree resolution.
•Better Backlight
•Thinner Profile
•Automatic Rotating Display 4×90°
•NSF certification
•Faster read times - only 2-3 seconds
•NIST calibration
