Well.... I am actually the first person to make fun of Raiden. I mean.... his name is Japanese.... his hat is Chinese.... and he looks white. Wut.
And his vision in MK9 are so That's So Raven, y'know? And how THE THUNDER GOD allies with Earth Realm... but he will not fight until directly challenged, so instead Johnny Cage, Jax, Sonya and Liu Kang (ALL MORTALS) fight instead. Yes, let the mortals fight instead of a FLIPPIN' GOD.
BUT... Mortal Kombat is not known for its logic.
Despite how silly Raiden is to me, I can't help but feel some some sort of favoritism to him. I almost get fangirly. And I felt the chorus really fit him, and then I realized the stanzas fit how I feel towards him. So... it's like... this video is from my point of view? I guess unlike my other videos, I have no other character to represent myself, so having the video stand alone and having myself as an outside source is weird. I considered a crossover with Sheva, but I just wanted Raiden in this.
But it's my birthday next week, so I get to do this for myself so if you think I'm crazy, I don't have to find that valid since it's a gift for myself.
