We’re often told to make the most of time — but time doesn’t wait for us to be ready.
If we’re lucky, we get around 80 summers in a lifetime.
Not 80 years.
80 chances to be present, to say yes, to make memories that won’t come back.
This film follows a simple walk into the mountains of Torridon with my son.
No big achievement. No perfect weather.
Just borrowed time — and the quiet realisation that the years are moving faster than the miles beneath our feet.
One day he’ll be grown.
One day these walks will live only in memory.
So while we still can, we go.
Because living life to the full doesn’t always mean doing more —
sometimes it just means showing up, while you still have the chance.
