The next part... is the longest part. Ho'boy. I gotta prepare myself.

All parts of the dramatic reading will be uploaded when they are finished being edited. I will only be reading the Prologue and Chapter 1; Chapter 2 has not been completed yet.
Chapter 1 will be broken up into eight parts.

The next day, I met the crew.
Let me tell you, they weren't the kind of people I was expecting.
There were five of us in all: Ty, me, Melonie, Antoni and Carolyn. I didn't have much in common with the others, and this was the situation for everyone. But that was good in the sense that it would be hard to connect us in any sort of plot to get out of the damned hellhole.
"Alright, here's the plan," Melonie whispered, all of us huddled together.
"Tomorrow at dawn the Canadians are shipping out anyone destined to another facility. We need to be on that truck out. So, tonight we all need to get into that office and change the records. I'm supposed to be on late shift with Antoni that night anyways, so it shouldn't be too hard to access the records. Problem is, we need your fingerprints to okay the transactions. So everybody has to be there."
"We're gonna have to hide out until night fall," Ty continued, picking up where Melonie left off. "Me, Carolyn and Hannah won't go back to the cells after evening meal. Instead, we'll have to hide in the factory until the guards leave and then sneak over to the main office to meet up with Melonie and Antoni. It's the only place that the guards will leave alone after dark."
I let all that information sink in. Not going back to our cells would be tricky, but the guards were inconsistent with checking, so if we were lucky we'd be fine.
If we were lucky
"So where will they meet up with us?" Antoni asked.
"We'll meet you and Melonie outside the back entrance to the office compound," Carolyn declared. "That way we'll be able to get inside without being detected."
Melonie nodded. She turned her head to look at me and asked, "You got everything down pat then Hannah? Are you ready for this?"
Swallowing down my fear, I responded confidently, "You betcha. I was born ready."
And so we go.
