Plot:
Kovu is harboring a murderer and cannibal (Scar), who is nonetheless charismatic and everyone wants to meet him. Agents come and offer Kovu spots on TV, fame and fortune, which he gladly takes. Still, he feels guilty. He doesn't want the killing to go on. He worries, however, that Kiara won't love him any more when they're poor and broke again, so he ultimately decides to let Scar stay.
And, ultimately, gets his comeuppance, becoming the very thing he hated.
