L I V E R W U R S T 😃 is both the BEST and the WURST (not the “worst” lol 😂)
I loved it as a kid but didn’t know it was “good for me”. 😉 I love it now for both its taste AND its benefits! And maybe you will too! 😍
A little background:
Liverwurst is often made of a blend of beef or chicken liver, along with other cuts like heart & kidney. It’s often spiced with onion powder, salt, and even some milk which tones down its organ meat flavor.
It’s rich in
✔️ vitamin A
✔️ B vitamins
✔️ selenium
✔️ copper
✔️ zinc
✔️ iron
Soooo it’s a nutrient-dense food that makes a great snack or sandwich or to pop onto a salad. (Yes, it’s fair to say I’m obsessed 🤩)
I also think it’s a GREAT place to start when introducing yourself or your family to organ meats. 🙌🏼 (I loved it with mustard (or mayo) and onion in a sandwich as a kid. 👍)
