We’re halfway through 2026, and while there have been some great surprises, there have also been some painful disappointments. Today, I’m ranking the worst movies I’ve seen so far this year.

Some were boring. Some were baffling. Some wasted great ideas, talented casts, or massive budgets. And a few were just flat-out miserable to sit through.

This isn’t the “objective” worst movies of the year. It’s my list based on what I’ve seen, what frustrated me the most, and which movies failed the hardest to deliver on what they promised.
