Steven Spielberg returning to aliens should be an automatic event.
He’s my favorite director of all time, Disclosure Day sounded like exactly the kind of original sci-fi conspiracy thriller I want more of, and the setup had me completely on board. But the more I sat with the movie, the more one question kept coming back:
Is Spielberg still the master craftsman… or is this the movie where his storytelling finally feels out of touch?
