Boxing for beginners proof that anyone can learn how to box, no matter their age, size, or experience. Tony Jeffries, Olympic medalist boxer teaches Kevin Browner, a 68-year-old man standing at 3'10" and weighing just 47 lbs, how to box from scratch in a single session using the same system he uses for every beginner.
Kevin showed up to the gym having never thrown a punch in 68 years, walked in smoking a cigarette, and had a sore shoulder from being picked up by strangers on the street. By the end of the session he was throwing punches, slipping, rolling and putting full combinations together on the focus mitts.
Tony uses his 11-step boxing training system to teach Kevin the basics from the ground up, covering the boxing stance, footwork, the jab, the cross, the 1-2 combination, and how to put combinations together.
