Romania is the most underrated country in Europe.
From the lake, to the mountains, to the beach, Romania's diverse landscape will shock you!
This was our first time driving nearly 900 kms across Romania: from Timisoara to Vama Veche.
We stopped at a lake (Cincis), as well as mountain village (Ranca). We found the places affordable, and quite beautiful.
The weather wasn't always on our side, but Romanian food was! (Steve ate mici 4 times in a row before finally getting a shwarma.)
It turns our Romania has the best french fries, as well as the best shawarma in the world.
Our daughter appeared to love this trip: She is improving her swimming quite well! We made a bunch of family memories and reminded ourselves why we love Romania so much.
