Despite severe flooding at St. John the Baptist Parish in Hagonoy, Bulacan, Philippines, Leian Lieza Galang and Gilbert Chico chose to go forward with their Catholic wedding on Sept. 1.
With their clothes soaked and fewer than 15 guests present, they stood before the altar and received the Sacrament of Matrimony.
The waters rose—but so did their faith.
