Today we’re talking about cringe as a YouTuber — aka that awkward, embarrassing phase you go through when you’re starting something new… especially YouTube. I was inspired by a post from YouTuber Alex Becker where he said he found an old YouTube video of himself from 14 years ago and it was “cringe as hell,” but it’s the reason he has a level of success as a YouTuber most people never reach. And honestly? I see this exact thing with my YouTuber clients all the time. In this video, I’m showing real examples of creators’ oldest videos (yes, they’re a little awkward 😅) and breaking down why embracing the cringe is the secret to YouTuber growth and YouTuber success. Because if you want to get good on camera especially as a YouTuber, you have to be willing to be bad first. This is a great lesson for beginner youtubers and anyone really wanting to grow on youtube or see success as a youtuber.
