This gamescom 2026 Extended Gameplay Demo offers a deeper look at the expansion's new region, quests, characters, monsters, exploration, and combat. Geralt must investigate the mysteries surrounding Letten and confront never-before-seen enemies as a long-dormant evil begins to emerge from beneath the seemingly peaceful realm.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past is a full-fledged new expansion developed by CD PROJEKT RED in partnership with Fool's Theory, whose team includes veteran developers who previously worked on The Witcher 3. Launching in 2027, the expansion brings Geralt back for a new adventure before players eventually take to the Path as Ciri in The Witcher 4.
