This is an original composition of mine in the style of Genshin Impact!
There were a couple of things I wanted to capture with this track. First and foremost, I wanted to capture the vibe and feeling of Mondstadt's battle music while also adding a bit of my own personal touch to it. I'm a HUGE fan of Yu-peng Chen and HOYO-MiX's work on the Genshin OST and wanted to make something that would fit in musically with the rest of the Mondstadt songs.
Secondly, I wanted to recreate the tonal and sonic qualities of the Genshin OST as closely as I could. In my opinion, Genshin has the best production I've heard from any video game soundtrack. The orchestra recordings have a very distinct air and space about them. While it's impossible to perfectly recreate this using virtual instruments and VST plugins alone, I wanted to get as close as I could.
Overall I'm really happy with the way this track came out! Thanks for listening! 🎵
