Thought we'd take a little wander at the very edge of our property, so I could share the gorgeous flowering quince bush. Today we've got beautiful breezy New England sunshine for the second day in a row; and plants are responding in a wave of springtime vitality. After I filmed this video, I harvested a small basket of lemon balm intended for magical purposes. Glimpses and sounds of the road's proximity clarify my reasons to avoid gathering plants in this area, but I pushed through my ingrained hesitancy on the day after last year's Autumn equinox. My willingness to listen and learn has gifted many insights as well as quiet, personal blessings.
