Get your book recommendations here! To cope with Lockdown 2020, here are 12 series spanning several genres to keep you company.

The first book in the #TheWheelOfTime series, #TheEyeOfTheWorld is just fantastic - it’s almost a textbook example of how to write action and build a world and explain complex socio-political systems. It’s perhaps one of the most enjoyable books I’ve ever read in my life. I fell in love with it at 12 and I’ve been evangelizing about it ever since.

However, if you read the first three chapters and it doesn’t grab you, put it away because it’s not for you and life’s too short to be spent on books that don’t fire your imagination. I should also warn you that the pace does slacken significantly around Book 6 and doesn’t pick back up until Book 11 or so but that doesn’t bother me because I think all that world building paid off in the end.
