This is the weirdest build in destiny. Boondoggle is a new world drop SMG that gets 3 hip fire perks. Hipfire Grip to increase accuracy, stability, and aim assist when hip firing, Offhand Strike for extra range, stability, and accuracy while firing from the hip, and Tex Balanced Stock for handling, reload speed, and movement speed when hip firing. So you get an absurd amount of stats but wait it gets better. Next season we’re getting armor set bonuses and one of the one’s they’ve teased is a hipfire set. With the 2 piece set you get increased movement speed and weapon handling when firing from the hip, and the 4 piece set will give Tex Mechanica weapons increased range and accuracy when firing from the hip. Then pair that with radiant dance machines to get even more mobility range and accuracy when hipfiring. So yes, it’s annoying that you have to hip fire all the time but you’re getting so many free stat bonuses that it should easily make up for it.
