» Ive recently watched Killjoys and Ive fallen in love with these two. Theyre the most precious EVER, I swear. You know when a fictional dynamic sneaks up on you, and totally catches you by surprise when you arent even paying attention? Yeah, that. I started this show randomly because it looked like fun (and it is!), but I found myself getting way too emotional watching their scenes. Their love is so pure and heartwarming. Also they invented Softness™

Despite the song choice (which is completely accidental), in the show these two are ∼ platonic. Also, theres no dancing. None at all. But the song just had the right vibe, it was in my music folder and I didnt want to waste my time trying to find a more fitting one. The whole way I started this video was honestly so casual, I didnt even mean to finish. But hey, I did and Im happy.
In my defense, I gotta say that picking a suitable song that doesnt talk about ∼romantic love, as in dating or breaking up ect., and that still carries emotional weight is kind of tricky.
Also! I hate the word platonic because while its useful to identify nonsexual relationships, it tends to remove all romantic gestures/words/ect., whereas romance doesnt necesarrily equate to sex.
Romantic friendships are a thing. Sorry, I dont make the rules.
These two are the heart of the show for me. And Im sucker for the kind of dynamic in which person a) is emotionally guarded, but fiercely defensive of the people they love, & person b) is easy going and carefree, but also supportive and selflessly generous.
Also theyre so Ride - Ill drop everything for you if you ask me to - or Die - if we need to fight you know I got your back ♥
