3. メープルストリートの家 (シダー・ウォルトン) – 6:42
House On Maple Street was inspired by the home of
a friend of Walton, a place he could visit unannounced
and find an honest and generous welcome. Whatever
I needed for my leisure time was there and available,
Cedar says, a tennis racket, a movie camera, a type.
writer, you name it. I remember the house and its owner
warmly. The ominous introduction may indicate the
presence of a ghost in the house on Maple Street, but
soon were into happy 4/4 time and an exploratory
Mobley solo, with Higgins drums chattering away in
empathy. Brahms may not have influenced any of these
musicians but he would certainly have understood the
ending. Indeed, he could have written it.

![Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid - Bob Dylan
00:00 The murder of Pat Garrett - February 29, 1908,
00:30 Main Title Theme (Billy),
05:53 Knockin on Heavens Door - Bob Dylan,
Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid is a 1973 American revisionist Western film directed by Sam Peckinpah, written by Rudy Wurlitzer, and starring James Coburn, Kris Kristofferson, Richard Jaeckel, Katy Jurado, Chill Wills, Barry Sullivan, Jason Robards, Slim Pickens and Bob Dylan. The film is about an aging Pat Garrett (Coburn), hired as a lawman by a group of wealthy New Mexico cattle barons to bring down his old friend Billy the Kid (Kristofferson).
Dylan composed the score and songs for the film, most prominently Knockin on Heavens Door, which were released on its soundtrack album the same year and nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of Best Original Score (Dylan) The movie was filmed on location in Durango, Mexico, and was nominated for two BAFTA Awards for Film Music (Dylan) and Most Promising Newcomer (Kristofferson).
The film was noted for behind-the-scenes battles between Peckinpah and the studio, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Soon after completion, the film was taken away from the director and substantially re-edited, resulting in a truncated version released to theaters and largely disowned by cast and crew members.

LYRICS - Knockin on Heavens Door
Mama take this badge from me
I cant use it anymore
Its getting dark too dark to see
Feels like Im knockin on Heavens door
[CHORUS]
Knock-knock-knockin on Heavens door
Knock-knock-knockin on Heavens door
Knock-knock-knockin on Heavens door
Knock-knock-knockin on Heavens door
Mama put my guns in the ground
I cant shoot them anymore
That cold black cloud is comin down
Feels like Im knockin on Heavens door

LYRICS - Billy 1,
Theres guns across the river aimin at ya
Lawman on your trail, hed like to catch ya
Bounty hunters, too, theyd like to get ya
Billy, they dont like you to be so free.
Campin out all night on the berenda
Dealin cards til dawn in the hacienda
Up to Boot Hill theyd like to send ya
Billy, dont you turn your back on me.
Playin around with some sweet senorita
Into her dark hallway she will lead ya
In some lonesome shadows she will greet ya
Billy, youre so far away from home.
Theres eyes behind the mirrors in empty places
Bullet holes and scars between the spaces
Theres always one more notch and ten more paces
Billy, and youre walkin all alone.
They say that Pat Garretts got your number
So sleep with one eye open when you slumber
Every little sound just might be thunder
Thunder from the barrel of his gun.
Guitars will play your grand finale
Down in some Tularosa alley,
Maybe in the Rio Pecos valley
Billy, youre so far away from home.
Theres always some new stranger sneakin glances
Some trigger-happy fool willin to take chances
And some old h ore from San Pedro to make advances
Advances on your spirit and your soul.
The businessmen from Taos want you to go down
Theyve hired Pat Garrett to force a showdown.
Billy, dont it make ya feel so low-down
To be shot down by the man who was your friend?
Hang on to your woman if you got one
Remember in El Paso, once, you shot one.
She may have been a h ore, but she was a hot one
Billy, you been runnin for so long.
Guitars will play your grand finale
Down in some Tularosa alley
Maybe in the Rio Pecos valley
Billy, youre so far away from home.
LYRICS - Billy 7,
Spend the night with some sweet señorita
Into her dark hallway she will lead you
In some lonesome shadow she might greet you
Billy, you’re so doggone far away from home
They say that Pat Garrett’s got your number
Sleep with one eye open when you slumber
Every little sound just might be thunder
Thunder from the barrel of his gun
Maybe you will find yourself tomorrow
Drinking in some bar to hide your sorrow
Spending the time that you borrow
Figuring a way to get back home
