I’d like to share something with you: After recording this collaboration, André was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS (PPMS). This is an aggressive form of MS and it hit him really hard. Following a hospital stay, he is working incredibly hard on his recovery now—relearning to walk, regaining his fine motor skills, so that he learns to do ordinary, everyday things again and maybe play the guitar at his high level again. He is doing all of this with immense determination and the belief that everything will turn out fine! He started a separate channel about this topic. 🎵🎵🎵🎵 ABOUT THE WATAPARTJA PROJECTS 🎵🎵🎵🎵
I initiated a collab project a couple of years ago which I called WATAPARTJA. It means something like 'how weird' / “how strange” and my goal is to collaborate with other people. The WATAPARTJA projects are absolutely NOT a competition, who is the best and can play the fastest licks. It is about creativity and the fun of collaborating.

Creativity is an on-going process of innovating yourself. Just go for it, dare to be original, start thinking outside the box and finally free your mind. It is also a process of inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun. It's actually not what you play, it's HOW you play it...
