A couple of years ago I upgraded my vintage Ibanez guitar with Seymour Duncan Alnicao II humbuckers, with the ability to switch to single coil mode.

I was actually noodling around with some open chords while playing with the neck pick up in single coil mode and the guitar connected to a Boss Katana Go.
