Walt Disney World was always more than just theme parks. Even back in the 70’s when it first opened it offered guests other activities like golf, camping, and boating. It was just a way to round out a vacation destination. Many people made trips out to Daytona for the Daytona 500. Well, Disney had an answer for that, and it was the Walt Disney World Speedway.
