I am very interested in ancient history, particularly the time of the Vikings, I wrote this one back in 2015 when i was inspired, after visiting a mystical , bronze age circle in the beautiful, wild countryside near where I live.My imagination took over:)..... A sad tale of an ill fated love between a Nordic beauty and her Anglo Saxon lover:).
I have tried to write and perform the song, as it may have been way back then....with a little mysticism thrown in too:)Hope you enjoy, and thank you for listening..And just to add, I have recently found out that my maiden name is of Viking origin..I am so excited to find out more :)

The wolf called to me with a pure crystal sound
As I saw your spirit leave me behind
My hand dragged the earth, where death was now found
And love spilt in battles blood, lies in ashes on the ground
