First impressions of Halo: Campaign Evolved running in full Virtual Reality!
Thanks to Praydog's incredible UEVR injector and a custom profile created by my friend @LunchAndVR, stepping onto this Unreal Engine 5 reimagining of the Halo ring in 3D is an absolute visual spectacle.
Even playing with traditional keyboard and mouse, the sense of scale, lighting, and detail in UE5 VR is mind-blowing. Seeing Master Chief's world surrounding you at 1:1 scale makes the combat encounters and vistas hit completely differently.
In this video, I share my raw first reaction to exploring the campaign in VR, taking in the visuals, and testing out the performance!
