Subnautica 2 just released in Early Access today, and I couldn't wait to see Planet Zazura in Virtual Reality!
Using the Unreal Engine VR Injector (UEVR), I took a dive into the new world to see how it holds up. Even though a custom UEVR profile isn't fully ready yet, the sense of scale and the lighting in UE5 are absolutely stunning. If you thought the first game was immersive, you aren't ready for this.
In this video, I am just soaking in the atmosphere and exploring some of the early biomes. It’s terrifying, it’s beautiful, and it’s everything I hoped for.
