How stunning is this? Join me at the top of the absolutely incredible High Cup Nick, sat high above Dufton in the western flank of the Pennines.
I’m looking back the way we’ve travelled here, stood above the almost perfect U-shaped valley with High Cupgill Beck meandering westwards below me.
In the past I’ve raced up the valley itself, I’ve hiked here with loved ones and now, I’ve experienced it as part of a journey of epic proportions.
Honestly, if you haven’t been before, go check it out. Experience the scale, the geology, the history… and most likely the weather. The Pennines are the real deal and High Cup Nick is particularly special.
