Description: Fort d’Alprech near Boulogne was a French Séré de Rivières fort. It was captured by the Germans in 1940 and changed into Stutzpunkt 258 Pantoffelblume, a radar post for the Kriegsmarine. It had 2 Würzburg radars. One was built on the old lighthouse but recently fell from the cliff.

Iconic! The Geul Valley Bridge (1916) is a railway bridge above the Belgian village of Moresnet. It was built by the Germans during #WW1, at a time when Belgium was under military occupation. With the bridge German troops and guns could move rapidly between Aachen and Antwerp. 🚂
