Description: German strongpoint 106 Dresden at Sangatte was a coastal battery of the Kriegsmarine. It had a special fire control post (French) and two guns of 17 cm, placed in bunker type M 270. One gun on a open emplacement. Hitler expected the invasion in this area. The battery surrendered to the Canadians on the 27th of September 1944.

Last flight of the Dutch F-104G Starfighter (1984). The Dutch Airforce used the F-104 since 1962 and had 138. Its multi-deployability (defensive, offensive, and reconnaissance tasks) turned out to be disappointing. In 1979 the F16 arrived which performed these tasks much better.
