This webinar will present a hand-picked, curated collection of the "Very Best" sustainable/green/high-performance building and design topics from the Visible Green Home® Tour series. The Visible Green Home® Tour series offers opportunities to enjoy special project perspectives: unique glimpses of the actual inner workings of deep Green residential projects from LEED® to Passive House to Living Building Challenge all captured during construction. In this webinar we will present video segments of topics ranging from Envelope Control Layer Design basics; to Bird Glass; to Design for Living; to Hybrid Double-Stud Passive House walls; to Permanent Wood Foundations. This webinar is intended primarily for homeowners who are new to the Green Building world and are interested in a high-level, broad, overview primer on the subject. They will learn about emerging, smart, sustainable residential design concepts, strategies, approaches and techniques that can be applied to their own projects, be that new construction, addition, or remodel.

1. **Understand** the fundamentals of high-performance envelope design and its impact on health by recognizing how improved insulation and air quality contribute to better living environments.
2. **Analyze** the principles of low-embodied energy/carbon buildings and their impact on safety by ensuring that sustainable materials are sourced responsibly, minimizing risks associated with hazardous substances.
3. **Introduce** the principles of low-operational energy/carbon buildings and their benefits for welfare by promoting energy efficiency that reduces living costs and enhances quality of life for occupants.
4. **Articulate** the concept of "future ready/long life-loose fit" building design and its impact on community welfare by emphasizing flexibility and longevity, which can adapt to changing needs over time.
