OMG!! I canNOT believe I have managed to finish not one, not two, but THREE videos within a MONTH!! This is probably the most I’ve uploaded in YEARS 😂

I started this video at the start of this god-awful pandemic on my old laptop but after it started randomly rebooting itself every time I added a clip to the timeline, I shelved the project. Honestly didn’t think I’d return to it because I hate starting projects over completely but my inner muse wouldn’t have it. I recreated what I had done before and kept on going. It’s nothing terribly fancy and honestly not my BEST work but I’m happy with it. I’m still getting used to creating coloring on this version of FCP so bear with me…tried to even it out as best I could but this show is quite a nightmare to color, haha.

I’ve always loved this song and A WALK TO REMEMBER is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE films. I’ve been reading a lot of fanfiction lately in my (now ample) spare time and have always wished someone would have written a fic with Damon & Elena based on A WALK TO REMEMBER. They fit the concept of a good girl making a bad boy want to be better to a T! If anyone knows of one, please link me to it! I’d write the fic myself but my creative writing skills are pretty lacking at the moment, lol. So I decided to vid the song from it instead 😊

P.S…a word to the wise. If you’re planning to ever vid this song, I would highly recommend doing it to characters that cry a lot. Though Damon sheds a fear tears throughout the show, he really only cried ONCE in front of Elena. I had to get REAL creative matching the rest of the choruses, lol 😝
