🏍️ Utah’s State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and Division of Outdoor Recreation (DOR) recently teamed up on the 4th annual Ride Back in Time OHV adventure!
The Ride Back in Time is our longest running and most successful Public Archaeology event and a perfect opportunity to partner with the DOR’s Motovember campaign which highlights motorized recreation and trailwork.
This ride showcases Utah history, builds cultural resource awareness, and creates meaningful relationships between OHV enthusiasts and land management agencies.This year we explored the San Rafael Swell, visited historic mining sites, and gained a deeper understanding of preservation and stewardship through hands-on artifact demonstrations.
