A few years ago we built a forced-air fire pit using RC electronics and a blower motor to dramatically reduce smoke. It worked great... but I knew it could be even better.
Now I've retired the old handheld controller and replaced it with Bluetooth control using my new FirePitMaster app!
The app is currently unreleased and built specifically for this fire pit, but it works incredibly well. Adjust the blower speed instantly, enjoy a cleaner-burning fire, and control everything right from your phone.
This project has been a blast, and it's another example of how RC electronics can be used for so much more than just RC vehicles.
