Since I learned japanese I got the opportunity to play many more games in that language, and lucky for me I've come across many very good games, both in gameplay but also in story, my taste for which(I feel like) has improved over time. Twilight Syndrome is a great game with a good series accompanying it, which at it's best is heartfelt psychological horror done right, and at it's worst is at least interesting.
Here I go through the series 5 games, 3 of which I spoil almost completely so if you want to experience them yourself, either go learn japanese and play them, or search youtube for translated playthroughs(they exist).
