Renesans is a “brutal” metalcore band from Boston, MA combining the ferocity of energy of early 2000s metalcore and modernizing it with influence from all subgenres of metal in one cohesive package. With soul crushing breakdowns and hooky earworm choruses, Renesans offers something for everyone. Founding member and vocalist David Benites is widely known as a vocal coach and owner of Extreme Vocal Institute. Members Dave Dunsire (guitar), Ron Bernhaut (bass), Luke Green (drums) each bring their own flair to the band with backgrounds in different metal genres. Renesans enlisted the expertise of producer, mix engineer and writer Justin deBlieck (former guitar in Ice Nine Kills, producer for Motionless In White) and writer Chris Wiseman (Currents, Shadow of Intent) to achieve their easily recognizable sound for their debut EP “Born from the End”.
