St Preux’s film takes place in the vibrant streets of Cap-Haïtien, where a despondent young man (Stevenson Jean) embarks on a journey to reconnect with his estranged father. Accompanied by an inquisitive street kid (Blangue Machiny), he races against time to share his father's parting words before it's too late. The film is the first mental health narrative film shot entirely on land in Haiti. Filmed in the historic northern region of Cap-Haïtien, the city is widely known for its significant role in the Haitian Revolution.
Among the producing team are Two Lewis and Naturi Naughton-Lewis through their Take Two Entertainment banner. Calixto Chinchilla from NYLFF Cinematics and Warner Bros. Discovery OneFifty exec produces.
