The Tonnika sisters were infamous criminals that operated throughout the galaxy and were known to the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. At that time they were wanted for the murder of a guard they killed while escaping prison. They were associates of Lando Calrissian and Han Solo, and were familiar with the Millennium Falcon. Right before the Battle of Yavin they considered capturing Solo and collecting on Jabba the Hutt’s bounty, but decided instead to steal his ship and escape Tatooine. They were thwarted by Jabba himself, who was waiting for Solo in Docking Bay 94, where the Falcon was parked. #starwars
