Imagine turning away one of the most well-renowned food critics in Los Angeles from eating at your restaurant. There’s no need to imagine, this was a reality for chef Ludo Lefebvre. In this animated story, Ludo recounts the night Jonathan Gold rolled into LudoBites. Unprepared and almost out of food, the chef whipped up a dish that would put him on Los Angeles's heat map: duck fat-fried chicken.
